Activities

Activities overview

The activities overview shows a list of all your activities, with a short description and the date they were created. You can filter by type (for example, ‘meeting’ or ‘task’) by clicking on the filter icon next to ‘All’. You can also change which user you want to see their own activities by selecting them in the dropdown menu at the top right hand side of this page.

Chatter

Chatter is a social network and communication tool for Odoo. It allows you to connect with your colleagues and share information, ideas, and knowledge in a secure environment.

Chatter features include:

• A knowledge base where users can ask questions, get answers from other users or leave comments on existing answers;
• A chat tool that allows you to communicate with colleagues directly via instant messaging or voice calls;
• An activity stream showing what’s going on across your organization;
• A collaboration space where teams can plan projects together using Trello boards (Odoo Chatter Edition only).

Notes

Notes are a record of all the activities performed by the user. Notes are created automatically when a user creates an activity, and they can be viewed in both the Activity History tab and Activity Details tab.

Notes are also visible on any record where you have permission to see notes (such as Vendors, Employees and so on).

Logs

In the Logs section, you can view all of your logs by type and date.

• Select the appropriate type from the dropdown menu to see all of your activities and chatter for that log type.
• You can also search for specific activities or chatter by typing in a keyword in the search bar at the top of this page.
